Duel Apologizes for an AI Video of Sneako Praying on Its Blackjack Table

A promotional video from the crypto casino Duel's channels showed the streamer Sneako praying on a prayer rug on top of a Duel blackjack table and thanking the casino for creating what the clip called the "first halal casino". He had not agreed to it. Sneako reposted the clip and condemned it on September 15, 2026, and Duel released its apology the same day and said an employee was fired, as Times of India and Sportskeeda reported.

Duel's apology does not describe the video as AI-generated. It calls it "the absolutely tone-deaf edit of Sneako praying on a prayer rug that went out from our channels", says it was "executed end to end by our content team", and states that mixing anything Islamic with the Duel blackjack table "was an absolute mistake", according to the statement as reported by Primetimer.

The account of who made it has shifted. Clavicular, a fellow Kick creator who holds the title of Duel's "Chief Inclusivity Officer", first described the campaign as the work of "a rogue agent" and said no one actually part of Duel was involved, then said he had called Sneako to apologize. Duel's own statement contradicted that, saying its in-house content team executed the campaign end to end. Both accounts are on the record; they do not agree.

Sneako, who has identified publicly as Muslim since 2023, wrote on X that he is suing Duel. That lawsuit has not been filed publicly, and Times of India's report describes only a threat to take the casino to court, with no specific legal claims named.

One detail is worth keeping straight, because the coverage has not. The press describes the clip as AI-generated - Primetimer's own reporting states directly that "the video is AI-generated" - while Duel's statement calls it an "edit" and never uses the term. Both are on the record and the two do not match. No source has named what tool or process produced the clip. What is not in dispute is that it depicted a real, named person doing something he did not do, without his consent.

Duel has not published any further statement on the campaign or the fired employee, and no case has appeared on a public docket.
