HeyGen launched a daily AI-avatar video series with real estate broker Ryan Serhant on October 8, 2026, and Serhant does not film each one. The channel posts under the handle @HeySerhant, powered by an avatar built from his likeness and voice.
HeyGen announced the launch in a release, and Variety reported the details the same day. The channel runs on Instagram, TikTok and X, and every post is labeled as AI. The term is long: Variety reported the account will produce at least one video a day for at least 12 months.
The setup splits the work in two. Serhant recorded himself once, and that footage became his avatar, according to HeyGen's page for the channel. Serhant and his team write and approve the topics and messaging. HeyGen then generates the daily videos from those inputs, without Serhant in front of a camera for each one. The channel covers real estate and market views, leadership lessons and answers to questions agents ask most often.
HeyGen calls itself a personal avatar company and describes its avatar technology as built to preserve a person's face, voice and mannerisms across repeated videos. In its own materials, HeyGen says it is rated the most realistic on G2 and used by more than 30 million people, including 85% of the Fortune 100. Those are the company's claims, not audited figures.
Serhant brings the audience. Variety reported that his company produces about 2,200 social posts a month, a volume his schedule as a working broker, CEO and television star cannot match on camera.
"Ryan has more ideas, stories, and advice to share than he has hours in the day to film content," HeyGen chief marketing officer Andrew Mok said in the release. "With his HeyGen avatar, his audience can now hear from him every day without Ryan having to be on camera every day."
Serhant has said the avatar is an addition, not a replacement. Variety reported the account will leave out some of his personal content, including "day in the life of a CEO" videos and clips featuring his daughter Zena.
For creators who sell their expertise, the Serhant channel is a test case. If audiences accept a labeled AI avatar run at daily volume, more experts could hand the camera to a synthetic version of themselves.
