Pruna's P-Video-2-Pro-Reference starts at $0.015 a second

Built on MiniMax H3, the model takes up to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio files as references, which Pruna bills separately from the output.

Key takeaways

  • Pruna AI's P-Video-2-Pro-Reference generates 5 to 15 second clips at 480p or 768p from a prompt plus image, video and audio references, and it is built on MiniMax H3.
  • Output is billed from $0.015 a second at 480p in Cost mode, with reference images at $0.005 each and reference video at $0.03 a second billed on top.
  • The model accepts up to 9 images (start and end frames included), 3 videos and 3 audio files per run, and Pruna's docs set the rate limit at 250 requests a minute.
  • It runs through Pruna's API and inference partners including Replicate, whose model page lists the same per-second rates.

Pruna's P-Video-2-Pro-Reference turns a prompt plus image, video and audio references into 5 to 15 second clips, priced from $0.015 a second.

Pruna announced the model on its site, where it lists the Cost build from $0.015 a second and the Speed build from $0.02 a second, both per second of generated video at 480p. References are billed separately.

The model needs at least one image or video reference with each prompt, and audio is optional. Pruna's documentation caps a run at 9 images (start and end frames count as images), 3 videos and 3 audio files. Clips render at 480p or 768p, 5 to 15 seconds with a default of 5, and carry generated audio. A keep_audio switch can hold one uploaded audio file as the clip's own track.

P-Video-2-Pro-Reference is a variant of Pruna's P-Video-2-Pro, a text-to-video and first/last-frame model with Cost, Speed and Quality modes. Runware dates that model's launch to September 17, 2026, at 480p and 768p and 24 fps. The reference variant drops Quality mode, which its docs say does not exist, and adds the image, video and audio inputs.

Output bills by resolution and mode: $0.015 a second at 480p and $0.025 at 768p in Cost mode, $0.02 at 480p and $0.035 at 768p in Speed mode, the docs state. References bill on top, at $0.005 per image and $0.0015 a second of audio in Cost mode, with reference video at $0.03 a second at 480p. The docs put the cheapest possible run at $0.075, a 5 second 480p Cost clip with no references.

That rate is a floor. Nine Cost-mode reference images add $0.045 to a 5 second clip. A 15 second reference video on a 5 second output bills about 5.5 reference-video seconds, the docs say, or roughly $0.165 at 480p. On a clip that leans on references, the inputs can cost more than twice the output.

For a creator, the shape of the deal matters as much as the model. MiniMax's H3 is the base, Pruna is the third party selling a tuned reference build of it, and the meter runs on output seconds and reference seconds alike. A budget built on the per-second output rate alone will undercount any clip that uses references.

P-Video-2-Pro-Reference runs through Pruna's API and inference partners including Replicate, whose model page lists the same rates.
