Runway Dev adds Kling 3.0 and O3 video models
The developer platform lists Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro, Kling 3.0 and Kling O3 at 9 to 43 credits per second, with credits selling for one cent each.

Key takeaways
- Runway Dev added Kuaishou's Kling video models on October 13, 2026, listing Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro, Kling 3.0 in Standard, Pro and 4K, and Kling O3 in Standard, Pro and 4K.
- Kling 3.0 Standard costs 9 credits per second without audio and 13 with it, Kling 3.0 Pro 12 and 17, and Kling 3.0 4K 43 either way, with credits sold at $0.01 each.
- Kling 3.0 and Kling O3 generate clips from 3 to 15 seconds with audio on by default, and Kling O3 accepts up to 7 reference images on image-to-video.
- Kling lists Kling 3.0 on its own API at $0.084 per second at 720p without native audio, so Runway Dev's Kling 3.0 Standard at $0.09 per second runs slightly higher.
Runway's developer API now sells Kuaishou's Kling video models by the second. A Runway Dev changelog entry dated October 13, 2026 opens with "Kling is now available on Runway Dev," and lists seven model IDs across three families.
Runway Dev is Runway's API platform for developers. Kling runs through the same text-to-video, image-to-video and video-to-video endpoints the platform already serves.
Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro (kling2.5_turbo_pro) generates from text or a start frame, with an optional last frame, at 5 or 10 seconds, and is billed at 12 credits per second. Kling 3.0 (kling3.0_standard, kling3.0_pro, kling3.0_4k) generates from text or first and last frames for 3 to 15 seconds, with optional audio that defaults to on, and takes multishot prompts through providerSettings.multiPrompt for up to six segments in one call.
The three Kling 3.0 tiers differ mostly in output size: Standard emits 720p, 960x960 or vertical 720p, Pro 1080p, 1440x1440 or vertical 1080p, and 4K 2160p, 2880x2880 or vertical 2160p. Standard is billed at 9 credits per second without audio and 13 with it, Pro at 12 and 17, and 4K at 43 either way.
Kling O3 (klingO3_standard, klingO3_pro, klingO3_4k) uses the same sizes and durations and adds up to 7 reference images on image-to-video, with keyframes counting toward that total, plus video-to-video edits of a clip up to 10 seconds. O3 is billed at 13, 17 and 43 credits per second, and the changelog says the rate holds even when audio is false.
Runway Dev sells credits at $0.01 each "in the developer portal for a project," according to its API pricing page. That puts Kling 3.0 Standard with audio at 13 credits per second, or $0.13, so a 5-second clip costs 65 credits, or $0.65. Kling 3.0 4K at 43 credits per second works out to $0.43 per second, or $2.15 for 5 seconds.
Kling sells the same family on its own API by the second, at a 720p list rate of $0.084 without native audio and $0.126 with it, per Kling's developer pricing page. On that axis Runway Dev's Kling 3.0 Standard is $0.09 without audio and $0.13 with it.
Kling joins a roster Runway already hosts. Runway's model pages list the served third-party models as Kling 3.0, Kling O3, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.5, Wan 3.0, Nano Banana Pro 2 and GPT Image 2, alongside Runway's Gen-4.5 and Aleph 2.0.
For a developer, the audio switch is now also a line on the invoice: Kling 3.0 Standard and Pro cost more with audio on, while the 4K tier and all three O3 tiers bill the same either way.
Developers need a Runway Dev account before building, which the platform's pricing page says to create first; the Kling model IDs are live now through the text-to-video, image-to-video and video-to-video endpoints.
