Genspark Media Studio ships an agent that edits video
The agent plans and edits, runs Claude Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 as its director brain, with GPT-6 Astra verifying the 3D stage, and agrees on the script before rendering.

Key takeaways
- Genspark launched Genspark Media Studio on October 27, 2026, an all-in-one video studio where an AI agent plans, writes, storyboards, checks and cuts the piece instead of generating a single clip.
- Genspark names Claude Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 as the agent brain that plans the work and writes the script, with GPT-6 Astra verifying the 3D director stage, over models including Seedance 2.5, GPT Image, Nano Banana, ElevenLabs and Seed Audio.
- Projects run from a 15-second ad to a 10-minute short drama, and 157 genres and styles apply in one click.
- Plus, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans get 50 percent off credit consumption from October 27 to November 4, 2026 at 19:00 Japan time.
Genspark launched Genspark Media Studio on October 27, 2026, a video studio where an AI agent plans, writes, storyboards, checks and cuts the piece instead of generating one clip and stopping.
Genspark announced it in a blog post and a press release dated October 27, and says Media Studio is available now inside the Genspark platform.
An agent does the directing, and Genspark's blog names the models behind it. Claude Opus 5.5 and Fable 5.1 act as the agent brain that plans the piece, writes the script and writes the code, with GPT-6 Astra handling multimodal verification in the 3D director stage. That brain orchestrates dozens of generation models across image, video, audio and 3D, drawn from more than a dozen providers, including Seedance 2.5, GPT Image, Nano Banana, ElevenLabs and Seed Audio.
Before it renders, the agent agrees with the user on concept, script, storyboard and budget. Each checkpoint returns to the conversation, where a creator can circle a frame and say what should change. That ordering is the pitch: fewer regeneration loops, and fewer credits spent on takes that were never going to work.
Genspark is a Silicon Valley all-in-one workspace that integrates more than 100 AI models, according to the press release. The help center describes Media Studio as a board rather than a chat box: every output lands as an editable node, with a Photoshop-class layer editor, a multi-track timeline that exports to Premiere or CapCut projects, an After Effects-style Motion Studio, a 3D white-model director stage and an interactive film and game engine.
The studio runs six stages end to end, Genspark says: script, storyboard, video, audio, editing and subtitles. Projects span a 15-second ad to a 10-minute short drama, and 157 genres and styles apply in one click. A Story Bible fixes faces, wardrobe, voices and the world so a character holds across a series. On the Standard tier, planning and default-quality images draw on a weekly free quota, video, audio and 3D use credits, and a draft costs nothing until you press Run.
Runway's App Studio, which also landed in late October, builds custom no-code apps with their own interfaces instead of directing a film, and Runway includes it in every paid plan. Luma's eight mini-apps live inside Luma Agents and start at $30 a month for Plus.
If the checkpoints work, a creator spends fewer credits per usable cut. Output quality and the cost per finished minute are not established by the launch claims.
Genspark Media Studio is available now inside Genspark, with 50 percent off credit consumption for Plus, Pro, Team and Enterprise plans from October 27 to November 4, 2026 at 19:00 Japan time.
