Higgsfield Cinema Studio 4.0 builds 30-second AI scenes

Higgsfield announced Cinema Studio 4.0, an AI filmmaking workspace that builds 30-second multi-shot scenes from up to 50 references, in a press release dated October 28, 2026.

Both figures are up from version 3.5, which generated 15-second clips from nine references. The same numbers appear on Higgsfield's help center and in the maker's launch post.

A Director's Panel holds Film Setup (seven genres, an era from the 1960s to the 2020s, and a tempo from Single Shot to Chaotic), Camera (body, lens and aperture, with moves including POV and Helicopter Shot), Color Palette (more than 50 grading templates, up from eight in 3.5), and Lighting (six presets or a custom setup). An Emotion Wheel slider sets how strongly a tagged character performs.

Cinema Studio is Higgsfield's directed video workspace, and the help center says version 4.0 runs on Seedance 2.5, a ByteDance model the platform hosts.

It also adds Forward/Backward Extend, which continues an uploaded clip of up to 30 seconds in either direction, and Edit Video, which changes an object or a face without regenerating the whole clip. Speech and sound effects generate in the same pass.

"Most AI video tools take a prompt and hand back a clip. Cinema Studio works more like a film studio," said Adil Alimzhanov, the company's content lead, in the release.

Higgsfield bills Cinema Studio generations in credits, separately from the unlimited model access its plans include, the release states, and the maker's complete guide prices by resolution and duration. A 10-second 720p clip costs 70 credits and a 30-second 1080p clip costs 480, or 360 under a limited-time discount. At the company's stated rate of $49 for 1,000 credits, that 30-second scene is about $23.52 (480 x $0.049).

Kuaishou's Kling 4.0, which launched October 15, also generates up to 30 seconds in a single pass, per Kling's own model page. It takes up to 15 reference assets and 10 keyframes, and lists 1080p and 4K output, above Cinema Studio 4.0's 1080p ceiling.

Cinema Studio 4.0 is also the production environment behind Higgsfield Originals, the company's platform for AI-made films and series, the release states. For creators, the pull is fewer full rebuilds: a scene can be extended or repaired in place. Higgsfield's own post notes that 30 seconds makes consistency harder than 15.

Cinema Studio 4.0 is available now at higgsfield.ai and loads by default; model access varies by plan, and the credit cost shows next to the Generate button before you start.
