Higgsfield's one-prompt dinosaur film ran on a 448-word brief
Higgsfield's published brief sets 20 scenes, 13 locations, 15 species and 40 lines of narration for the 9-minute-51-second film.

Key takeaways
- Higgsfield published a 448-word production brief for a dinosaur documentary it says Claude made in one session through the Higgsfield MCP connector, posted on November 5, 2026.
- The brief calls for 20 scenes of 30 seconds, 13 locations, a four-angle design sheet for each of 15 species, 40 lines of narration and four orchestral themes.
- The brief bans grass and anything that looks like a park, yet The Generated saw a Brachiosaurus scene grazing on what looks like a mown lawn.
- Higgsfield has not said how many shots were regenerated, what the run cost, how long it took, or whether a person reviewed the cut.
Higgsfield says Claude made its new dinosaur documentary in one session, and it published the 448-word brief behind the film. The film runs 9 minutes 51 seconds. Higgsfield's post on X on November 5, 2026 says the script, shots, narration, music, sound effects and edit were all automated through the company's MCP connector, with no outside editing tools.
For a creator, the useful part is the brief. Writing instructions that precise, and catching what the machine gets wrong, is now the work.
What Higgsfield says it made
Higgsfield calls the film one-shotted in Claude through its MCP connector. Its own descriptions are "broadcast-ready" and "100% automated," and its list of automated steps is short and complete: script, shots, narration, music, SFX, edit. The company published the full prompt alongside the post.
Those claims are Higgsfield's, and they come with four open questions. Higgsfield has not said how many shots it regenerated, how long the run took, what it cost in credits, or whether a person watched the cut before it was posted. The Generated, an AI video trade site that read the brief and watched the film, noted each gap. It also measured the runtime at 9 minutes 51 seconds, where Higgsfield's post rounds it to 10 minutes.
What is in the 448-word brief
The prompt reads like a production bible, and its specifics are the news. Per The Generated's reading, it sets 20 scenes of 30 seconds each across the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous, in 13 locations. It asks for a four-angle design sheet for each of 15 species, made as stills in Seedream 5.0 Pro before any video is generated in Seedance 2.5 at 4K.
Then come the notes a human director would give. The camera is handheld and never stops moving. The brief asks for 40 lines of narration and four orchestral themes. It specifies the length of every crossfade and the loudness of the final mix. At 448 words, that is a shot list, a style guide and a sound plan in the space of a page.
The quality check the brief wrote for itself
The brief does not stop at generation. It tells the machine to look at every scene frame by frame for morphing, extra limbs and wrong leg counts, and to regenerate any shot that fails. That check is written into the prompt as an instruction, which is the step most one-prompt workflows leave out.
It also has gaps. The brief bans grass and anything that looks like a park. In The Generated's viewing, the Brachiosaurus scene grazes on what looks like a mown lawn, with a pale path behind it. A frame-by-frame check catches a sixth leg. A location that should not be there survives it, because the brief never asked the machine to check the ground.
How you would run this yourself
The workflow is Higgsfield's MCP connector. Higgsfield's help center says you add a custom connector in Claude with the URL https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp, sign in to a Higgsfield account, and prompt. No API key is involved. Claude Code, OpenClaw and Hermes connect through the Higgsfield CLI instead, which the agent installs itself with npm i -g @higgsfield/cli and npx skills add higgsfield-ai/skills.
Two rules matter before you start. A paid subscription is required, and every generation through a connected agent spends credits, whatever plan you are on. Higgsfield's pricing page states that Unlimited models and free generations work only on higgsfield.ai, and are not available through MCP, the CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer. A separate guide by Vagon walks through the same Claude Code setup and the same credit model.
What a run like this costs
Higgsfield has not published the credit cost of the dinosaur film. Its own guide gives a scale for the model the film used: Seedance 2.5 at 720p for 10 seconds is about 70 credits, and at 1080p about 160, using the guide's rate of $49 for 1,000 credits. That puts a 10-second 720p clip near $3.43 and a 1080p one near $7.84.
Do the arithmetic on the brief and the scale gets uncomfortable. At the guide's 720p rate, a 30-second scene is 210 credits, and the Starter plan's 270 monthly credits would cover a single scene with 60 to spare. The film's brief calls for Seedance 2.5 at 4K, and Higgsfield's pricing page lists no 4K rate for that model, so the run's total cannot be worked out from public numbers. Starter is $19 a month billed yearly for 270 credits, Plus is $47 a month billed yearly for 1,200, and Ultra is $99 a month billed yearly for 3,000.
What it means for creators
The lesson from this film is that the brief is the work. Twenty scenes, 13 locations and 15 species only hold together if the instructions hold together, and a model will follow a bad instruction as faithfully as a good one, which is how a dinosaur ends up on a lawn. The skill worth building is writing a brief that precise, then watching the result closely enough to catch what it missed.
The billing makes the same argument. Every generation spends credits, so a vague brief is also an expensive one, and the retries a loose brief causes are the retries a precise one avoids.
The pattern is spreading. Luma connected its preset ad tools to Claude and ChatGPT on November 3, 2026, according to The Generated. As more production moves into the chat window, the people who can write a 448-word brief and spot the lawn will have the advantage over the people who can only write a prompt.
To run it yourself, add Higgsfield's connector at https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp in Claude, or install the CLI in Claude Code, and budget for the credits before you start.
