The 10 Most-Watched AI Videos Ever Made, Ranked: Toon Stories Tops 700 Million
Nine entries are ranked on YouTube view counts read on September 19, 2026; No. 7 is our own short film, included as a pick rather than on the numbers.

Ten videos, and one of them is ours. That is the honest way to describe this list: nine entries are ranked strictly on the numbers YouTube itself reports on each video's page, and the seventh slot is a film we made.
The data was read on September 19, 2026. Views come first, as the figure every reader can check for themselves; likes are given where YouTube exposes them on the page, and where a like count exists it is used to break ties. Nothing here is weighted for craft, budget or ambition, and that matters, because a pure reach ranking of AI video looks nothing like a film festival. The biggest AI videos on YouTube are vertical, two-to-three-minute AI animal stories made for the Shorts feed, and they are watched in the hundreds of millions. For scale, the best-known AI piece in the prestige category, demonflyingfox's Harry Potter by Balenciaga, sits at 14,771,711 views and 327 thousand likes.
Two rules kept some things out. Every entry has to be labelled as AI-generated by the source itself, and a handful of enormous AI-adjacent channels were excluded for that reason: Pouty Frenchie's 105 million-view popsicle dog short is described by its own channel as a cartoon and never as AI, so it stays out. Where the only AI signal is the channel's own hashtag, the entry says so.
10. MR WD - SIAM (66,340,310 views)
The only entry here whose description states the case outright: "It is an AI-generated short video." MR WD - SIAM's Bengali-language sketch carries #veo3 among its tags, naming Google's video model, and it is one of the few high-performing AI clips on this list in a language other than English.
Its 66.3 million views and 351 thousand likes work out to a like rate of about 0.53%, the lowest of the three videos here where YouTube exposes likes.

9. Todd AI Animal (69,273,986 views)
A vertical short about miniature animals, from a channel whose name and hashtags both say AI. There is no description text on the video to describe what happens in it, so the title stands as the record: "The cutest little animals."
By engagement it is the strongest entry on this list. Its 900 thousand likes against 69.3 million views is a like rate of about 1.3%, more than twice the rate on any other video here where likes are visible, which suggests the short is being recommended to people who actually stop for it rather than scrolled past.

8. Life Journey Hub (78,188,683 views)
"Beautiful story of hardworking cow and monkey," per the channel's own title, tagged #ai and #animals. It is the plainest illustration of the format that owns this list: a farm animal, a hardship, a resolution, in a vertical frame short enough to loop.
The 584 thousand likes work out to about 0.75% of its 78.2 million views, a rate closer to the middle of the pack than the top.

7. Bowie the Cat: No More Lives (11,287 views)
This one is ours, and it is here on purpose rather than on the numbers. Bowie the Cat: No More Lives is made by SLOP TV, the publisher of this site, and it is included as our own pick rather than on the metrics that rank the other nine. On the same measure used everywhere else in this list it would not be in the top thousand: 11,287 views since its premiere on August 29, 2026.
It earns the slot on what it is. A 17-minute comedy short, co-published with Revog, in which Bowie, a SoHo house cat, burns his ninth life in a fight with a pigeon and meets Death on the cobblestones of Greene Street. Death is a jet-black alley cat with a smoker's voice and a weakness for gin rummy, and the film is a walk through downtown New York that ends in a card game and a negotiation for one more life. The video's own description credits it as adapted from the one-act play "Death Knocks" by Woody Allen, and tags it #aifilm.
The production numbers are not the story here. It is the only entry on this list with a screenplay.

- Premiered: August 29, 2026

6. AI New Story 2.0 (94,269,833 views)
A deer and a sunflower, in a vertical short carrying #ai, #baby and #deer. The channel's description for it is a single sentence: "This is a touching story of a little deer and a sunflower." That is the business model of this corner of YouTube in one line, and 94.3 million views say it works.
At 7.4 times fewer views than the top entry, it also marks roughly where the ceiling begins to drop: the gap between first and sixth place on this list is the difference between 700 million and 94 million.

5. Cat Realm AI (135,962,384 views)
"Daddy Fights Shark to Save a Kitten," from a channel that puts AI in its name and in the title's hashtags. The premise is the format at its most stripped down: a small animal in danger, a bigger animal intervening, 60 seconds of resolution.
Its video page carries no description, so the title is the only account of the content, and it is also the clearest example of why AI shorts travel: the hook is readable from the thumbnail and the title alone, in any language.

4. kitten Storys (153,532,703 views)
"Shocking! The poor kitten has the Transformer!" — a kitten-and-Autobot mashup tagged #ai, #story and #kitten. It is the fourth most-watched AI video on YouTube, and it has 854 thousand likes, the second-highest like total in this list.
The like rate is a different story: 854 thousand likes against 153.5 million views is about 0.56%, less than half the rate on Todd AI Animal. Broad reach and deep engagement are not the same metric, and this is the pair that shows it most clearly.

3. Manoranjan Tales (241,373,724 views)
"AI animation cat video," per its own title, with #ai leading its description tags. Manoranjan Tales says it makes "top-notch animated Orange Cat video" for viewers of all ages, and on the numbers it is the first entry in this list to clear a quarter of a billion views.
The channel has 239 thousand subscribers, which is worth pausing on: 241 million views from an audience that would not fill a mid-size stadium's worth of subscribers is a reminder that Shorts reach is dispensed by the recommendation feed, not by a follower base.

2. little meow (287,917,181 views)
"Cute cat," a vertical clip tagged #aicatstory, #ai and #aiart. There is no description to say what happens in it — the channel's own blurb is a line about nature having no mercy and no rules — so the title and its hashtags are the record.
At 287.9 million views it is the second-biggest AI video on the platform and still less than half the leader: 700,990,825 divided by 287,917,181 comes to about 2.4 times.

1. Toon Stories (700,990,825 views)
"Dadaji Ka Mango Tree." A Hindi-language AI cartoon short about a grandfather and a mango tree, tagged #ai alongside #cartoon and #mango, from a channel that describes its output as heartwarming tales built around a hardworking cat standing up to monkeys and bears. Its own description for this video lists "AI" and "AI animation" among its terms.
Seven hundred million views is not a rounding error in a category: it is 2.4 times the second entry and 7.4 times the sixth. It is also about 47 times the 14,771,711 views on Harry Potter by Balenciaga, the AI piece most likely to be named by someone outside this beat. On YouTube's own numbers, the most-watched AI video ever made is a vertical cartoon about a mango tree, and it got there without a name anyone would recognise.
