Pixazo cuts MiniMax H3 Max API price to 4 cents a second

Pixazo has cut its price for the MiniMax H3 Max video API in half, to $0.04 per second at 768P and $0.025 per second at 480P, through what it calls a live 50% promotional discount. Pixazo announced the cut on September 21 in a press release syndicated by NBC Right Now, calling it "the lowest effective per-second rate among API providers currently offering the model."

MiniMax H3 Max generates 5 to 15 seconds of video from text or an image, with synchronized native audio and, on image-to-video calls, first-and-last-frame keyframing to control the start and end of a shot. Pixazo bills it per second of finished output rather than per generation or through prepaid points, so a rejected draft only costs the seconds it rendered. A five-second 768P clip with sound runs about $0.20 at the promotional rate, per Pixazo's pricing page.

The list price Pixazo is discounting, $0.08 per second at 768P and $0.05 per second at 480P, matches MiniMax's own pay-as-you-go documentation, which lists MiniMax-H3-Max at those exact rates. New Pixazo accounts get a $5 credit bonus on their first deposit plus free trial credits to test the model before spending.

MiniMax H3 Max is not purely MiniMax's own work, despite how Pixazo's release frames it. According to fal.ai's own page for the model, fal Research post-trained H3 Max from the open-weight MiniMax H3 base and co-released it with MiniMax, running it on fal's in-house inference stack. fal's version carries the same $0.08-per-second list price at 768P as MiniMax's official docs, but fal had its own launch discount: 75% off, which brought its 768P rate down to $0.02 per second before that promotion ended on September 14, 2026, according to fal's pricing page for the model. That means fal's promotional rate has already expired, while Pixazo's $0.04 rate is still running as of this writing.

Pixazo's own blog post on the pricing runs a similar table against fal.ai, MiniMax's direct console, Replicate and OpenRouter, and concludes Pixazo sits lowest on an effective-cost basis because it combines per-second billing, no minimum spend and a live discount. That conclusion is Pixazo's own comparison, not an independent audit, though the underlying list price it cites checks out against MiniMax's documentation.

Neither Pixazo's press release nor its pricing page states when the 50% discount ends. The blog post calls the rate "currently" available and describes the promotion only as "live," with no expiration date printed anywhere on the page. Given that fal's comparable launch discount already lapsed after about three weeks, there's no guarantee Pixazo's holds for long. Anyone building a workflow around the $0.04 rate should confirm the current price before a production run, not assume it from this article.
