Spark Station pitches an AI crew that makes a whole film
VerSe Innovation showed the workflows at its SPARK summit in Mumbai with Google Cloud as title partner, and published no price or launch date for them.

Key takeaways
- VerSe Innovation hosted SPARK, its AI creativity summit, at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai with Google Cloud as title partner, before more than 500 filmmakers, studio heads and brand leaders.
- The workflows run on Spark Station, which made its beta debut at Film Expo 2026, where the short film Just One Small Change went from an idea to a final render in three hours.
- VerSe says Spark's AI agents cover Direction, Writing, Art, Camera, Sound and Editing, and that Story to Video Pro exports edits to Final Cut Pro, Avid, Resolve or Premiere.
- Spark Station markets a free tier and custom enterprise pricing and prices by tokens rather than seats, but publishes no rate card and no general-availability date for the new workflows.
VerSe Innovation announced a set of end-to-end AI filmmaking workflows for its Spark Station platform at SPARK, an invitation-only AI creativity summit it hosted at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai with Google Cloud as its title partner. It published no price or general-availability date for the new workflows.
The release, carried by The Tribune India, says the summit drew more than 500 filmmakers, studio heads, broadcasters and brand and agency leaders. It dates the event to the evening of October 29. That day is inconsistent across coverage: the trade outlet IndianTelevision reports the summit was held on Wednesday, which was October 28, and the outlets Gizbot and Exhibit also date it to October 28.
Spark Station is VerSe's AI content platform, and it made its beta debut at Film Expo 2026 in New Delhi, where the short film Just One Small Change went from an idea to a final render in three hours. At SPARK, VerSe says, the platform moved from generating shots to directing them. The summit builds on the Astra-Spark Alliance that Astra Studios and VerSe announced at MIPCOM on October 13 on the same platform. The new material is the workflow set, not the continuity engine that alliance described.
The centerpiece is Spark, which the company's release describes as an AI film crew on call: agents for Direction, Writing, Art, Camera, Sound and Editing carry a described film to a final cut, and every change is a conversation. Story to Video Pro runs one pipeline from story, script, cast, characters, locations, storyboard, scenes, shots and keyframes through render and edit, with export to Final Cut Pro, Avid, Resolve or Premiere. The release also lists end-to-end advertising workflows, a micro-drama workflow, and a reworked comics generator.
VerSe says Spark Station keeps characters, cast, locations and objects continuous, checks every shot before generation to save tokens, and routes each task to the best model with a manual override. It adds that the platform estimates each shot's cost before it renders. These are the company's claims about what the workflows do. The summit showed demos, and no independent test output of the new workflows is published.
Google Cloud is the summit's title partner. Amit Kumar, its managing director in India, said VerSe is using Google's generative media models, including Gemini, Omni and Veo, to deliver content capabilities through Spark Station.
The Spark Station site markets a free tier with no credit card and custom enterprise pricing, and it prices by tokens rather than seats, but publishes no rate card. For creators weighing the pipeline, cost and access remain open: VerSe has published neither.
VerSe has not said when the workflows leave beta or when it will publish pricing.
