Key takeaways

  • Vyond launched Vyond Turbo at a virtual event on October 29, 2026; Turbo builds a business video from a prompt and reference documents, then revises it by chat.
  • Vyond Turbo requires an additional subscription on top of a Vyond plan, and Vyond sets the price through a custom quote rather than a published rate.
  • Vyond says 65% of the Fortune 500 rely on Vyond, and it markets Turbo to learning and development, sales, HR and internal communications teams.
  • Turbo joins two existing products, the hands-on Vyond Studio editor and the template-based Vyond Go, which Vyond says it complements rather than replaces.

Vyond launched Vyond Turbo on October 29, 2026, a chat-led AI video platform that turns a written prompt and reference documents into a finished business video. The company introduced the product at a virtual event, "Meet Vyond Turbo: High-Impact AI Videos at Your Command," held at 9am PT on October 29.

Turbo runs on conversation. A user picks a video style, types a prompt, and can drop in reference docs, branding, photos, or creative direction, per Vyond's product page. Turbo then writes a Project Brief and a Storyboard for review. From there the user chats to change the script, visual style, characters, or music, and generates the video. Vyond calls Turbo an agentic AI video creation platform that handles scripting, visual direction, scenes, voiceover, pacing, and music. The release page states: "Vyond Turbo is a new, intuitive, chat-led way to make video that's built for business."

Vyond markets Turbo to four teams: learning and development, sales and sales enablement, HR and internal communications, and marketing. The pitch is same-day sales explainers, training videos built from existing documents, and company updates that do not wait on a creative team. Brand colors and logos carry through, and Vyond's AI avatars give the videos a presenter.

Turbo joins two products Vyond already sells. Vyond Go generates videos from a template library, and Vyond Studio is the hands-on editor. Vyond says Turbo complements both rather than replacing them. Turbo had been in beta, and the September 2026 newsletter said it could generate animated or realistic narrators and background music. The India-based partner Stratbeans had shown Turbo to customers at a Bengaluru learning summit on September 7, according to IT Voice.

The platform is not included in a standard plan. A note on the release page states that Turbo requires an additional subscription. Asked what Turbo costs, the product page directs buyers to a custom quote through a Customer Success manager or the sales team. Vyond's published plans start at a Starter plan at $58 a month, billed annually at $699, with a Professional plan at $100 a month per user, billed annually at $1,199, per the plans page.

Vyond chief executive Scott Ernst, principal product designer Chi Hang Li, and enterprise account executive Kristin Ferguson appeared at the launch. Vyond's homepage states that "65% of the Fortune 500 rely on Vyond," a company claim rather than an audited figure.

For creators who sell video work to businesses, Turbo is another entry in the push to make explainers and training without an editor. The open question is price, since Vyond has not published a Turbo rate.

Vyond Turbo is sold through Vyond's sales team, and the launch recording is available by registering at think.vyond.com.
